Why doesnt Vevo play clicked on video on YouTube?

I've been trying to watch Vevo videos via YouTube but every time I click on a certain video it will play something else. For example if I try to watch a Jay-Z video it will play a Lady Gaga video (or something else random). BUT it will give u the information, comments etc. for the video you originally wanted to see. It does that for every single video that's related to Vevo. Is there any way I can change that issue with Vevo/YouTube? Or is that the way Vevo is? Is there any other YouTube channel where I can watch official artist videos?
