Do you feel sorry for the military brass who have to spout the BS fed to them by politicians?

Like a couple of days ago, the honcho holding a press conference about Obama's illegal war for oil in Libya said to the effect "no, the goal is not to oust Gadhafi" after Gadhafi's crib had gotten the living **** bombed out of it? Is it REALLY smart politics to spout bullshit?
