Is it bad for me to beleive in Gay Marriage if I am Christian?

my name is Jay and I'm 14 years old and I have a very serious and important question to ask, I really don't know if beleiving in Gay marriage is bad or not. In my point of view people should be able to marry the person they love regardless of gender if they are really happy that way. I'm a christian but I don't know if this is a bad thing for a christian like me to beleive in. I support equal rights and I beleive it isn't fair if gays cannot be allowed to marry.
