I'm really confused about this whole Bin Laden thing?

Is he really dead? I know the picture going around is fake. But Obama said that Government Officials have Bin Laden's body and they are going to do an autopsy. People are also saying his body was dumped at sea. Now I hear he was an ousted CIA agent. What in the world is going on?
